ATOUCH gift card system — atouch.com and the ATouch Gift Cards app.
Last updated: 19 September 2026
1. What ATOUCH is
ATOUCH provides a gift card management system for businesses: a mobile app and an API that let a retailer create, print, sell and manage physical gift cards in their own shop. These terms are a business-to-business agreement between [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], trading as ATOUCH, [REGISTERED ADDRESS], Ireland (company number [CRO NUMBER]) (“we”, “us”) and the business holding the account (“you”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. Questions: support@atouch.com.
The service is sold to businesses for use in their trade, so consumer-contract rights such as the 14-day right of withdrawal do not apply. You can cancel at any time under clause 4.
2. Your gift cards are yours
Gift cards created through ATOUCH are issued and sold by you, to your customers. You are the seller of the voucher and the party responsible for honouring its balance. In particular, you are responsible for complying with the law that applies to your gift card sales — in Ireland that includes the Consumer Protection (Gift Vouchers) Act 2019, which among other things requires gift vouchers to be valid for at least five years. ATOUCH does not impose expiry dates on cards, and does not take any share of your gift card sales.
3. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address; it is how you sign in and how we reach you about your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials, and any API keys you create, confidential. Actions taken with your credentials or keys are treated as yours. If you believe a key is compromised, revoke it in the app immediately.
- One account is intended for one business.
4. Plans and payment
- The free tier and paid subscription are described on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Any VAT or other taxes that apply will be shown at checkout.
- Plan limits (such as the number of cards that can be created per year) are enforced by the service. Limits gate the creation of new cards and branding features — we never block you from servicing a card you have already sold: redemption, top-up and balance checks keep working regardless of your plan.
- If you cancel a subscription, your account reverts to the free tier’s limits at the end of the paid period. Nothing is deleted: your cards and their history remain, and cards already sold remain fully serviceable.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period.
5. Fair use
You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to access other accounts’ data, no reselling access to the service itself, no using it to send unsolicited email, and no use that breaks the law. We may suspend an account that is being used abusively, and will tell you if we do.
6. Your data
How we handle personal data — yours and your customers’ — is described in our Privacy Policy. For data you record about your customers, you are the data controller and we process it on your behalf under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms and satisfies Article 28 GDPR; you are responsible for having a lawful basis to record that data and for informing your customers about it. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete Account); deleted data is retained for 30 days for recovery and then permanently removed.
7. Service and availability
We work to keep the service available and your data safe (including continuous point-in-time database backups), but the service is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We recommend recording a sale on paper in the rare event the app is unreachable, and entering it afterwards.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Beyond that, our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the obligations you owe your own customers on vouchers you have sold.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate an account for material breach of these terms with notice, or discontinue the service with at least 90 days’ notice, in which case we will provide a way to export your card records.
10. General
These terms are governed by Irish law, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If we change these terms materially we will update this page and its date and notify account holders by email. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
